Stephanie Meares

Everyone needs a “why” in their life. Everything we do must satisfactory answer that simple question. If I were to honestly answer it for my artistic journey, then I do it for me. I am typically the quiet one in the room. My art is my introvertness screaming extrovertly—and I know those aren’t real words!  Beyond being an artist, I am a daughter, a wife, a mother, and a breast cancer survivor. I find great joy and happiness in each of these roles as I take them all very serious. Though not an exhaustive list, each one has contributed to my life’s journey. Art is an outlet for me to alleviate the stress and worry that sometimes overwhelms the day-to-day stressors that accompany everything I am.
